T. McLean of the State of Georgia, of the County of Fayette, of the first part, and L.C., A.R., and E.M. McLean of the State of Georgia, of the County of Fayette, of the second part, Witnesseth that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, and conveyed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the 495th District G. M. of said State and County, and being Forty-Five acres, more or less, in land lot Nos. 219 and 198, and bounded as follows: On the North by lands of Stephens and Perry, on the East by lands of Mrs. Emma Thompson and L C McLean, On the South by lands of A.R. and E. N. McLean and on the West by lands of C. W. Jones and Bud Edmondson. This land is better known as the home place where I now reside. To have and to hold the said bargained premises, together with all and singular the rights, members, and appurtenances thereof, to the same being, belonging, or in anywise appertaining, to the only proper use, benefit, and behoof of them, the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns, forever, in fee simple. And the said party of the first part, for his heirs, executors, and administrators, will warrant and forever defend the right and title of the above described property unto the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns, against the claims of all persons whomsoever. In witness whereof the said party of the first part has hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal, the day and year first above written.
