			This indenture made and concluded upon this twentieth 
day of January Eighteen Hundred and twenty seven between Kinchin Bohannan of 
said State and County of the one part and Thomas Ellis of Henry County and 
State aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that for and in consideration of 
the sum of five hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Kinchien 
Bohannan at and before the signing of these presents, the receipt of which is 
here by acknowledged, have this day bargained, sold, granted and released and 
by these presents do bargain, sell, grant and release unto the said Kinchin 
Bohannan his heirs Executors, administrators, or assigns all that lot tract of 
land containing two hundred two and a half acres; situate lying and being in 
the fourth district of Henry County at the time of surveying now Fayette County 
and State aforesaid, which tract or lot of Land is  known and distinguished in 
the plan of said district by number thirty five beginning at Red oak and 
running North 45 chains to a pin thence East 45 chains to a Red oak & thence 
South 45 chains to a post oak stake, thence West 45 chains to the beginning;  
To Have and to Hold the said tract or lot of Land together with all and 
singular the rights and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said 
Kinchin Bohannan his heirs and assigns  Executors, Administrators and assigns 
forever in fee simple.  And I the said Thomas Ellis for myself my heirs or 
assigns do warrant and forever defend the rights and titles of the above named 
premises against the claim or claims of myself my heirs or assigns, and the 
claim of all other persons whatever unto him the said Kinchien his heirs or 
assigns.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal 
the day and date above written in presence of
