 GEORGIA, FAYETTE COUNTY

This indenture made the first day of November in he year of our Lord one 
thousand eight hundred and thirty six between Daniel B Head Adm of the estate 
of J D McIntosh dec of the State aforesaid and county of Fayette of the other 
part witnessed that the said D B Head Admr as aforesaid for and in 
consideration of the sum of two hundred eithty dollars to him in hand paid at 
and before the sealing and delivry of these presents the ___ Whereof is hereby 
acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and do by these presents 
grant bargain sell and convey unto the said D B Head his heirs and asigned. All 
that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of  Fayette 
known by number severty two (72) in the fourth Dist. of formerly Henry now 
Fayette County containing two hundred two and a half acres. To have and to hold 
said tract or parcel of land unto him the said D B Head, his heirs and assigns 
together with all and singular the rights members and apprentenaces therof to 
the same in any manner belonging to him and thru ___ proper use benefit and 
behoof forever in fee simple and the said of D B Head his heirs and assigns 
together with all and singular members and apprentenances thereof to the same 
in any manner belonging to him and thru our proper use benefit and behoof 
forever in fee simple and the said  D B Head Adm. as aforesaid for his heirs 
executors and administrator the said bargained premises unto the said D B Head 
his heirs and assignst will warant and forever defend the right and title 
thereof against themselve and against the claim of all other persons whatever 
in testimony whereof the said D B Head Adm as aforesaid hath hereunto set his 
hand and seal the day and year first above written

Additional Comments:
McIntoshes and Heads removed from Morgan County, Georgia to Fayette County. J D 
McIntosh was the son of David and Polly (Dawson) McIntosh. John D McIntosh 
married  Margaret L.A.Head 01/01/1843. The administrator (D.B. Head) of J D 
McIntosh's estate sold the property to himself.
