[missing title] MILITARY. 1833 Vol. 1 -- Page: 136 Sequential Number: 092 Full Title: AN ACT to authorize the Justices of the inferior court of Fayette county to convey to the commander of the 53d regiment Georgia Militia, a lot of land within the limits of the corporation of the town of Fayetteville for a parade ground of said regiment, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and immediately after the passage of this act, the Justices of the inferior court of Fayette county or a majority of them be, and they are hereby authorized and empowered to convey to the commander of the 53d regiment, Georgia Militia, Fayette, and his successors in office, one lot of land within the corporate limits of the town of Fayetteville, for the purpose of a parade ground for said regiment. SEC. 2. And be it enacted by the authority aforesaid, That an Page: 137 order passed at the September term, 1825, of the inferior court of said county relative to the closing up of the twenty feet alley, in the town of Fayetteville be, and the same is hereby confirmed and made legal, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
