Miller Passes Away at Home at Sunny Side Monday Night at a Ripe Old Age. Sunny Side, Ga., June 26 -Mrs. Nannie W. Miller, widow of the late Prof. James Osgood Andrew Miller, for nearly fifty years, superintendent of the schools of Spalding county, died at the home of her son, Walter B. Miller, near here at 8 o'clock Monday night. Mrs. Miller had been in declining health a number of years, but only recently returned from a visit to Atlanta. Mrs. Miller was an excellent lady, a charter member of Shiloh Methodist church and for many years was prominently and effectively identified with church work and various missionary organizations. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Murphy, being born in Fayette county and moving here many years ago. The deceased is survived by two sons, Walter B. and R. Q. Miller, one brother, Andrew Murphy, and three sisters, Mrs. B.N. Miller, of Spalding county, and Mrs. Z. T. Peeples, of near Lovejoy, and Mrs. John McLucas, of Inman. The funeral services were conducted at Shiloh Methodist church at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Nath Thompson, pastor of the Griffin circuit, and the interment was made in the church cemetery, being largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends.
