The ceremony was performed by Rev. Heath. Mrs. Joe A. Webster played the wedding march and during the ceremony rendered “The Flower Song” as only her skilled fingers could do. The attendants were Mr. Frank Buchanan a brother of the bride and Miss Lizzie Buchanan, a sister of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Cleveland, sister and brother-in-law of the groom. The bride was lovely in a going-away suit of dark blues. She carried a beautiful bouquet of rare hot house plant. The house was artistically decorated with ferns and smilax. Many of the friends of the contracting parties accompanied them to Woodland, where on leaving they were given a jolly rice pounding. Mr. and Mrs. Adams are highly esteemed and have a large host of friends here who wish for them a long and happy life.
