Marriage License
State of Georgia County of Fayette

To any Judge, Justice of the Peace or Minister of the Gospel:

You are hereby authorized to join I W Bishop and Miss Ella Cannon in the Holy 
Estate of Matrimony according to the Constitution and laws of this state and 
for so doing this shall be your license.  And you are hereby required to return 
this license to me, with the certificate hereon with the fact and date of the 
marriage.

Given under my hand and seal this 17th day of November 1893

I found this marriage license on Georgia's virtual vault.   Click on County 
Records from Microfilm and select Fayette County.

I don't think you can search for a name but you can take a look at the 
microfilm of the indexes.

Under the word certificate Georgia Fayette County is printed.   Fayette is 
crossed out and Spalding is written in.  Isaiah Bishop was previously married 
to Rosannah Gray.  I now believe they were divorced about 1892. Rosannah's 
death certificate indicates that she was divorced.
