Note: This was Delilah (Ward) Bowers who had married first Levi Bates Bowers who died in the General Hospital in Virginia while serving in the Civil War. Why she was listed as Owens was probably an error on the part of the person who recorded their names. She married George Washington Owen on the date mentioned above.
