the Gospel.                                                                                     
You are hereby authorized to join Jeferson Pate and Hariet Bowers in the Holy State 
of Matrimony, according to the Constitution and Laws of this State and for 
so doing this shall be your sufficient License, given under my hand this 25th 
day of october 1859.                                                                      Geo. C.

I certify that Jefferson Pate and Harriett Bowers were duly joined in 
Matrimony by me the 27th day of October 1859.
