Fayette County, Georgia Marriage Book B (LDS Microfilm # 209384)

Georgia, Fayette County} To any minister of the Gospel, Judge, Justice of the 
Inferior Court, or Justice of the Peace. You are hereby authorized to join 
William Ward & Miss Clarisa Pearson in the Holy State of Matimony according to 
the constitution & laws of this State & for so doing this shall be your 
sufficient License given under my hand & seal this 14th day of October 1835.
                                                     William McBride, Clk L.S.
Georgia, Fayette County} I do certify that William Ward & Clarisa Pearson were 
duly joined in Matimony by me this fifteenth day of October 1835. Jacob 
Bentley, J.P.
                                                     Recorded March 4th 1836.

Additional Comments:
Note: Clarisa Walton Pearson was born Jan. 26, 1807 in Burke County, North 
Carolina and died July 25, 1871. She is buried in the Concord Primitive 
Baptist Church Cemetery in Randolph County, Alabama. Clarisa's parents are 
believed to be Charles Pearson and Eunice Sellers. WHW
