Fayette County, Georgia Marriage Book B, page 116. 

Georgia, Fayette County} To any minister of the Gospel, Judge, Justice of the 
Inferior Court, or Justice of the Peace. You are hereby authorized to join 
John Ward and Rebeccah Robinson in the Holy State of Matrimony according to 
the constitution and laws of this State, and for so doing this shall be your 
sufficient license given under my hand and seal this 12th Day of March 1838.

Georgia, Fayette County} I do certify that John Ward & Rebeccah Robertson were 
duly joined in Matimony by me this 13th day of March 1838. Isaac Strickland, JP

Additional Comments:
Please note that Rebeccah's last name was shown as Robinson in the license and 
as Robertson in the affidavit by Isaac Strictland. I don't know which is 
correct.
