Wilkerson, 1815 Eleventh Avenue, South, a few friends witnessed the marriage of Miss Gladys Charlotte Wilkerson to Thomas Edgar Busbin, of Fayetteville, Ga. Little Misses Henrietta Wilkerson and Virginia Hastings entered first, carrying ribbons which formed an aisle from the stairway to the altar. They wore green georgette dresses and carried pink rosebuds. The bride entered with her father and was met at the altar by the groom where the ceremony was performed by Dr. Jesse A. Cook, the impressive ring ceremony being used. Miss Wilkerson was lovely in a blue cut velvet gown with trimmings of gray squirrel. Her bouquet was of bride’s roses. Music was rendered by Mrs. Binford, who also played the wedding march. After the wedding the following were present at the reception given by Mr. and Mrs. Wilkerson: Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Busbin, of Fayetteville, Ga., parents of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Travis, Mr. and Mrs. W. Jess Brown, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Fairman, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Nicholson, Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley McArthur, Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Austin E. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Norton, Mr. and Mrs. G.C. Hastings, Mr. and Mrs. W. Youngblood, Mrs. Sullivan, Misses Mabel McCoy, Ruth Starbuck, Hallabrook and Marguerite Munden, of Kansas City; Frank G. Conklin and Douglas Beatty, John and Francis Wilkerson. After the wedding Mr. and Mrs. Busbin left for a short wedding trip, after which they will make their home in Atlanta.
