I Sarah Gray of the County of Fayette and State of Georgia being of good health at present and also of sound mind and disposing memory, taking into consideration the uncertainty of life and knowing that it is ordained for all persons to die, have thought proper to make this my last will and testament and by these presents do make and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills. First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Lydia Gray the sum of five dollars to be paid by my Executor to her as soon after my death as is convenient. Second I give and bequeath unto my son Isaac Gray the sum of five dollars to be paid in the manner mentioned for the first item. Third I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Cain the sum of five dollars to be paid as above named. Fourth I give and bequeath unto my son John Gray the sum of five dollars to be paid as above. Fifth I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Johnson the sum of five dollars to be paid as mentioned above. Sixth I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Gray the sum of five dollars to be paid as above named. Seventh I give and bequeath unto my son James Gray the sum of five dollars to be paid as first named. Eighth I give and bequeath unto the lawful kin of my deceased daughter Naomi Bonds the sum of five dollars to be paid as first named. The above named legacy I give and bequeath unto the above named legatees for them and their heirs forever. Ninth I give and bequeath unto my son Abraham Gray the following negroes towit Judy a girl Minney a girl and Musa a girl and their increase (if any) I also will that my said son Abraham Gray shall have all my remaining property which I may be in possession of at my death after the above legacies is paid and all my just debts to him and his heirs forever. Tenth I do hereby appoint my son Abraham Gray my Executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I Sarah Gray have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 14th day of June 1834. Signed Sarah Gray (Seal) In presence of John G. Georgia Fayette County Personally appearing before us Abraham Gray and being duly sworn saith that the original will of which this written is a copy in substance is lost. So that it cannot be found and that he is the Executor appointed in said will sworn to and subscribed before me this 13th Sept. 1837 Abraham Gray Elijah P Allen J. S C Fayette Superior Court September term 1837 It appearing to the court from this affidavit of Abraham Gray that the original will of which the written is a true copy is lost. It is therefore ordained by the court that the legatees named in said will show cause at the next term of said court why a copy of said will should not be established in lieu of the original upon due notice being given to all parties interested. Georgia Fayette County Court of ordinary Nov. term 1838 Personally appearing John G Westmoreland and Calvin S Westmoreland two of the written signed witnesses whom after being duly sworn deposeth and sayeth that they saw Sarah Gray sign seal and declare the original will of which this written is a true copy to be her last will and testament and that at the time of her doing so she was of a sound and disposing mind and memory and that they subscribed the same as witnesses and saw Edward Ireving ? do so likewise sworn to and attested before us Nov. 6th 1838 John Westmoreland C.
