I order and direct my Executors as soon after my decease as practicable to pay off and discharge all the debts, dues and liabilities that may exist against me at the time of my deceased. 2nd. I give and bequeath unto my wife Jemima Bowers one hundred and one fourth acres East half of Lot (No.) (35) thirty five in the Sixth District of Fayette County containing (l01 1/4 ) acres more or less and all the household and kitchen during her lifetime or Widdowhood, then after my wife deceased to my lawful heir. 3rd. (this third item missing) 4th. I hereby nominate and appoint James M. Arnoll my Executor. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this March 25 day 1879. Jacob Bowers The above and foregoing instrument was at the thereof, signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Jacob Bowers as and for his Last Will and Testament in presents of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses: George S. Banks Fayette County, Ga. James M. Arnoll, Fayette County, Ga. William Whatley, Fayette County, Ga. Georgia, Fayette County We, J. M. Arnoll, William Whatley and Geo. S. Banks do swear that we saw the within named, Jacob Bowers, sign & publish the within paper as his last will & testament, that we subscribed the same as witnesses thereto, at the special insistance and request of the said Jacob Bowers and in his presence, that the said Jacob Bowers signed the same freely voluntarily, and was at the time of such signing, of sound & disposing mind and memory.
