J. Carnes, of said county, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament, herby revoking any and all others heretofore made. ITEM 1. It is my will and desire that my body be buried in a Christian manner, and in keeping with my circumstances in life. ITEM 2. It is my will and desire that all my just debts be paid as soon as practicable after my death. ITEM 3. I will, bequeath and devise to my daughter, Mrs. LULA McKOWN, my china cabinet. ITEM 4. I will, bequeath and devise to my daughter, Mrs. JESSIE THORNTON, 1 set of antique china dishes, that formerly belonged to Grandmother Carnes. I will, bequeath and devise to her, the said Mrs. Jessie Thornton, the parcel of land now embraced in my garden, containing one acre, more or less, the lines of this tract to be a fence around my garden at this time. ITEM 5. I will, bequeath and devise to my daughter, Mrs. CLARA HELMER, all my silverware and the walnut child's bed. ITEM 6. I will, bequeath and devise to my daughter, Mrs. SALLIE C. TROWELL, my automobile, and the best carpet in my living room. ITEM 7. I will, bequeath and devise to my son, WALTER P. CARNES, the two best chairs in my living room. ITEM 8. I will, bequeath and devise to my daughters, Mrs. Lula McKown, Mrs. Jessie Thornton, Mrs. Clara Helmer, and Mrs. Sallie C. Trowell, the remainder of my household and kitchen furniture, share and share alike, they may sell the same and divide the proceeds equally between them, or they may divide the furniture among themselves. ITEM 9. I will, bequeath and devise the remainder of my property, both real and personal, to my children, Mrs. Lula McKown, Mrs. Jessie Thornton, Mrs. Clara Helmer, Mrs. Sallie C. Trowell and Walter P. Carnes, of whatever kind and wherever situated. It is my will and desire that all my real and personal property be sold after the bequests set out in Items 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, have be deducted from my estate, the proceeds from the sale of this remainee of my real and personal property, together with whatever money I may die possessed, to be divided equally between all my said children named in this Item. ITEM 10. I make my son, Walter P. Carnes, executor of this will. This 15th day of November 1937. \t\t\tMrs. S. J. Carnes (Seal) Declared, published, signed and sealed by Mrs. S. J.
