Georgia Fayette County Know all men by these present that Mr. Jesse Attkisson, William G. Smith & Windham West are held and firmly bound unto the Honorable the Justices of the Inferior Court of said County sitting for Ordinary purposes & their successors in office in the just and full sum of four hundred dollars for the payment of which sum to the Justices aforesaid & their successors in office do bind ourselves, our heirs, Executors & administrators in the whole & for the whole jointly & severally & firmly by these present & sealed with our seals dated the 6th day of November 1848. The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Jesse Attkisson administrator of the Estate real & personal of William Attkisson late of this County deceased do make a true & perfect inventory of all the Estate both real and personal of said deceased which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of the said Jesse Attkisson or unto the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him,, & the same so made do exhibit unto the said Court of Ordinary when he shall therewith required and such estates do will and truly administer according to Law, and do make a just & true account of his actings & doings thereas when he shall be therewith required by the Court of Ordinary for said County and all the rest aforesaid Estate which shall be found remaining p. 403 on account of said administration the same being first allowed by the Court, shall deliver & pay to such person or persons respectfully as an subtract(?) to the sum by Law. And if it should hereafter appear that any last Will & Testament was made by the deceased & the same be proven before the Court & the Executors obtain a Certificate of the Probate thereof& the said Jesse Attkisson do in such case is required ______ & deliver up said letters of Administration then the above obligation to be void.
