Robert H. Brown		State of Georgia  Muscogee County
to James Ellis for		June the 22nd, 1843
Lot 174, 16 Dist. 4 Sec	

This Indenture made and entered into between Robert H. Brown of the one part of 
Muscogee County and State of Georgia and James Ellis of the County of Floyd and 
State of Georgia of the other part.  Witness made and entered into on the 
twenty second of June 1843 in and for the consideration of eighty dollars to 
him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged.  Witness that said 
Robert H. Brown has bargained sold and do convey a certain forty acre lot of 
land lying and being formerly Cherokee County now Floyd County known by a plat 
of said Dist. No. one hundred and seventy four (174) lying and being in the 
sixteenth district and fourth section and the said Robert H. Brown for the 
consideration of eighty dollars to him in hand paid do bargain, sell, and 
convey to James Ellis and his heirs, all the above described lot of land be the 
same forty acres more or less to have and to hold forever in fee simple, which 
Lot of land I do warrant and defend from me any heirs executors  administrators 
and all and every other person or persons claiming the same, Sold to James 
Ellis and his heirs to have and to hold said described lot of Land forever.  In 
Witness I hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty second day of June 1843.
