1853, June 15 --- This Indenture made between Joshua Daniel and Lafayette Lamar 
of Gordon and Lincoln Counties unto Isahel R. Smith.  For and in consideration 
of the sum of $8000 dollars, hath conveyed 400 acres whereon said Joshua Daniel 
lived in the year 1852, adjoining lands of Stovall, Miller, Buffington and 
others consisting of lots 164, 197 and so much of lots 165 and 196 as lies on 
the West side of the Oostanaula River including ½ of said river adjoining said 
lots.  Also ½ of Ridge’s old Ferry.
