No. 348  Radford Ellis 
	           To
	   Pleasant R. Lyle
	State of Georgia Floyd County This indenture made this seventh day
May in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifty two between Radford 
Ellis of the one part and Pleasant R. Lyle of  the other part both of the 
county of state aforesaid Witnesseth that the said Radford Ellis for and in 
consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand at and before 
the sealing and delivery of the presence the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and doth by these presence grant 
bargain and sell and convey unto the said Pleasant R. Lyle his heirs and 
assigns all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the third district 
of the fourth section formerly Cherokee now Floyd and known in said district by 
number 1069 one thousand and sixty nine containing forty acres more or less to 
have and to hold said bargained lot or parcel of land unto the said Pleasant R. 
Lyle his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple and the said Radford Ellis for 
himself his heirs and assigns do warrant and forever defend the rite and title 
thereof unto the said Pleasant R. Lyle his heirs executors administrators free 
from the claim of himself his heirs executors administrators and assigns in 
witness whereof the said Radford Ellis hath hereunto set his hand and affixed 
his seal
