Mrs. Arnold was born in Griffin April 21, 1903, daughter of the later Joe Henry Westmoreland. She had been a longtime resident of Floyd County. She was a member of the Silver Creek Presbyterian Church and the Lindale Chapter No. 265, Order of the Eastern Star and had received her 50-year pin in 1985. She was a member of the homemakers club. Prior to retirement in 1972, she was employed by McCall Hosptial as a dietician for 16 years. Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Arnold, February 1975, to whom she was married Aug. 7, 1932. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Mary Butler and Mrs. Willie Jo Gilstrap, both of Rome, and Mrs. Estelle Dunwoody, Nashville, Tenn. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Talley Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Draper officiating. Interment will be at East View Cemetery.
