Rome News Tribune Apr. 3, 1958: 
  Funeral services for Vaughn Boggs, 41, former Roman who died unexpectedly
Saturday in a Dallas, Texas hospital, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the
chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with the Rev. W. C. Ruchti officiating.
Interment will follow in the family lot in Pisgah Cemetery. Pallbearers will be
Hobart Bennett, Olan Skinner, Cliff T. Moore, Clayton Byars, J. R. Medlock and
Guy Bone.
 Apr. 4. Funeral services for Vaughn Boggs, former Roman who died in a Dallas
Texas hospital, were held at 11 a.m. today from the chapel of Jennings Funeral
Home with the Rev. W.C. Ruchti officiating. Interment followed in the family lot
of Pisgah Cemetery. Mr. Boggs had spent the greater part of his life in Floyd
County prior to going to Texas last September.
