D. Boggs, 54 Dies On Tuesday; Rites Wednesday C. D. Boggs, 54, died Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock at his residence, 1005 Avenue B. He had been in declining health for a year, and his condition became serious severals weeks ago. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home. The Rev. H. F. Joyner and the Rev. J. E. Smith will officiate, and the interment will be held in the Sand Springs Cemetery. Mr. Boggs was born in Floyd County and had spent his entire life here. He is survived by his widow; two sons, Glen and Monroe Boggs; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Oden; one sister, Mrs. Frankie Calloway, all of Rome, a brother, W.H. Boggs of Oklahoma City, Okla., and one grandchild. Pallbearers will include Dan and Emmett Burk, Richard and Mose Aycock, Bryant Rush and Lonnie Hicks. (Charles D. Boggs died June 22, 1937)
