Mr. Boggs was born in Floyd County on June 3, 1915, son of Mrs. Bessie Green Boggs and the late G. W. Boggs. He was a member of the Armuchee Baptist Church and had spent his entire life in Floyd County. He was a retired construction worker. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. G. W., Boggs, Little Texas Valley; one brother, Grady Boggs, Rome; five sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Pansy) Campbell and Mrs. Elva Cordle, Little Texas Valley, Mrs. Max (Ruby) Smith, Atlanta, Mrs. J. A. (Avalene) McGhee, Rome, Mrs. N.O. (Katherine) King, Dalton; two daughters, a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sand Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Winston Barton officiating. (Note: died Dec. 12)
