Paul Camp and the Rev. Don Spears officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Springs Cemetery. Mr. Cordle, 82, of 5127 Big Texas Valley Road, died Wednesday evening at a Summerville health-care center. He was born in Floyd County on Oct. 16, 1911, son of the late Joseph C. and Addie Green Cordle. Prior to retirement, he was a farmer and employed by S.I. Storey Lumber Co. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include; his wife, the former Sara Molene Caldwell, to whom he was married on April 14, 1935; four daughters, Beth Green, Rome, Temple Espy, Chattanooga, Tenn., Joy Gulledge and Kay Dixon of Armuchee, a son, J.C. Cordle, Texas Valley, a sister, Adelene Melton, Atlanta; two brothers, Bud Cordle, Milner, and Scott Cordle, Okahumpka, Fla; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
