Died at Spring Creek

Miss Laura Dempsey died at midnight Tuesday, at the home of her brother, L.E. 
Dempsey, at Spring Creek, after an illness of several months. She was 69 years 
of age. Her brother is her only surviving relative. Miss Dempsey was a member 
of the Baptist church and had a great many friends to regret her death. The 
funeral will be held from the residence this morning at 9:30 o'clock and the 
service will be conducted by Rev. C.W. Rowe. Interment will be in the Macedonia 
cemetery.
