Stephens wend@bellsouth.net March 24, 2004, 1:14 pm (Rome News Tribune, Rome, GA., Monday April 3, 1995) Alfred Claude Robinson, 84, of Saddlehorn Drive, died Sunday evening at a Rome hospital after a long illness. Mr. Robinson was born Sept. 3, 1910 in Gordon County, son of the late James Monroe Robinson and Fannie Fuller Robinson. Prior to retirement, he owned and operated the Greystone Barber Shop. He was a member of Second Avenue Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran, having served in the European Theater during World War II. Survivors include: his wife, Martha Robinson; a sister, MarJean McDearis, Calhoun; nieces and nephews. Graveside and interment services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at East View Cemetery.
