Stephens wend@bellsouth.net April 20, 2004, 11:01 am Rome News Tribune October 30, 1962 Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Snedden, Funeral for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Snedden, 69, of 619 13th St, S.W. who died Saturday at Brighton, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at True Methodist Church, East Brighton, with burial in Valhalla, Angwin directing. Mrs. Snedden, a native of Bluffton, lived in West End for 20 years. Surviving include her husband, C. R. Snedden: five daughters, Mrs. James L. Howard, Arizona, Mrs. E. C. Ferguson, California, Mrs. Lamar Spears, Rome, GA., Miss Virginia Little, Rome, GA.; one son, Clifford Little; two brothers, W. E. Smith, Bluffton; James O. Smith, Gadsden; five sisters, Mrs. C. Green, Mrs. J. J. Hanley, Cedartown, GA., Mrs. Frances Mann, Brighton, Mrs. Annie Dill, Esom Hill Ga., Mrs. Bonnie Wallace, Rockmart, GA. Mrs. Elizabeth Snedden, of Birmingham, Ala., mother of area residents, passed away Saturday at the home of a sister in Brighton, Ala. Surviving are her husband; one son, Clifford W. Little, of Lindale, Rte. 1; five daughters, Mrs. Charlie Spears and Miss Virginia Little both of Hollywood; Mrs. Mary Furgeson, of California; Mrs. Hazel Miller, of Mexico, and Mrs. Sara Howard, of Arizona; and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock (Alabama time) Thursday afternoon in Brown's Funeral Home, in Ensley, Ala. Burial will be in Brighton, Ala. in the Valla Halla cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home, of Ensley, is in charge of arrangements.
