Rome News Tribune April 24, 1989:
Mrs. Head
   Mrs. Sadie Louise Head, 81, of 42 Chateau Drive, Heatherwood Apt. 217, died
Saturday evening at a Rome hospital after a long illness.  Mrs. Head was born in
Bartow County on June 5, 1907, daughter of the late Andrew and Annie Reeves
Lanham. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Hollywood Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. J. Russell Head, to whom she was married
Dec. 24, 1925; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Barnes, Rome, and Mrs. Joan Lumpkin,
Jackson, SC. 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hollywood Baptist Church with the
Rev. Talmadge
Barnes, the Rev. Donald and the Rev. David Harper officiating. Interment will be
at Floyd Memory Gardens.
