Funeral Is Held For W. M. Hurley
Funeral Services for W. M. (Chief) Hurley, 2010 North Broad Street, who died 
Tuesday afternoon, were held at 5 p.m.; yesterday at the Celanese Methodist 
Church with the Rev. Forrest King, the Rev. W. J. Atha and The Rev. J. W. Tate 
officiating. Interment was in East View Cemetery.
Survivors are the Widow; one son, John B. Hurley; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin 
Weber and Mrs. Ivanelle Boggs; four grandchildren, Billy Gene and Linda Joyce 
Boggs, Linda Kay Weber and John B. Hurley Jr., all of Rome; two sisters, Mrs. 
Nettie Hurley, Rome, Mrs. Pluma Daniel, Round Mountain, Ala.; two brothers, 
Charlie Hurley, Centre, Ala., and Ben Hurley, Round Mountain.
