A. B. Lloyd Will Be Buried From Residence Friday Afternoon Mrs. J. A. B. Lloyd died at 9:55 Thursday morning at the Francis Berrien hospital following an illness since last June. She has been critically ill, however, only the past two weeks. Mrs. Lloyd, who was 63 years of age, has always resided in Floyd County. Before her marriage, Mrs. Lloyd was Miss Georgia Reynolds, daughter of Thomas Reynolds. Her husband, who preceded her in death by about a year, was for a number of years yard master of the Southern Railroad. Mrs. Lloyd was a prominent member of Maple Street Baptist Church and was a woman of splendid Christian character. She is survived by the following children: H. H. Lloyd, and Mrs A. A. Atkins, of West Palm Beach, Florida; Miss Bessie Lloyd of Rome, and Homer and Mittie Lloyd, of Rome. Sisters surviving her are Mrs Mattie Heston, of New Albany, Mississippi; Mrs. Mittie Jackson and Mrs. Bessie Segers, of Texas. Brothers are Louis Reynolds, Tom Reynolds and Luke Reynolds. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon from the residence at Desoto Park, and the interment will be in Myrtle Hill cemetery. Rev. H. F. Joyner will conduct the services and the following will act as pallbearers: C. M. Strange, J. M. Crozier, J. P. Byars, Fred Dale, A. A. McGinnis and Marion Lewis.
