NORA BELLE Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Belle Copeland, 73 resident of rural Tampa, who passed away Sunday morning at her home, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Oak Grove Methodist Church, the Rev. Oscar K. Magarian, pastor to officiate. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetary. Active pallbearers; Donald Petersen, Tom Fullwood, Henry Jepson, Jack Clemons, Charles Butler, Harold Metz. Honorary pallbearers; Norman Roberts, J. M. Oren Sr., C. R. Daniels, Fred Londenberg, R. W. Faison, W. E. Vining, John Stevens, R. G. Owens, Joe Glochick, E. B. Smith. Arrangements in charge of Willson Sammon Company Funeral Home. ROME NEWS-TRIBUNE MONDAY, DECEMBER 21, 1953 Mrs. D. Y. Copeland, native Roman, died Sunday morning at her home in Tampa, Fla. She was the former Miss Nora McGinnis, daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. A. P. McGinnis, of Rome, and was born and reared in Rome. She had moved away some 40 years ago. Mrs. Copeland was preceded in death by her husband last August. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. G. A. Porter, of Tampa, Mrs. Bert Seymour, Winter Haven, Fla., and Mrs. Wilber McEwen, Tallahassee, Fla.; two sons, Charles Copeland, St. Petersburg, Fla., and the Rev. D. Y. Copeland, Chattanooga, Tenn.; four sisters, Misses Cornelia and Lee McGinnis, Mrs. Jack Bryan and Mrs. Mary Harless, all of Rome; two brothers, A. P. McGinnis, of Rome, and C. C. McGinnis, Charlotte, N. C. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Tampa at the First Methodist Church. Interment will also be in Tampa.
