ELIZABETH MITCHELL, whose maiden name was MANN, was born in Cumberland County, 
North Carolina on the Cape Fear River 24 February 1806, came to Georgia in 
1824, was married to Col. DANIEL R. MITCHELL December 10, 1828, and removed to 
Rome, Georgia in October 1835.
