MORTUARY.

W. M. Neal, Rome.
Rome, Ga., June 5-
W. Mayfield Neal, for forty years a citizen of Rome, and probably the oldest 
Mason in Georgia, passed away at his home here Monday, after being in critical 
condition several weeks.
Mr. Neal was born in Franklin county, Georgia, on August 27, 1831, and was 
nearly 86 years of age.  Six children survive.  They are Miss Jennie Neal and 
Mrs. Florence Wimberly, James Neal and William T. Neal, of Rome; John M. Neal, 
of Texas, and Miss Cora Neal, of Washington, D. C.
