Rome News Tribune April 24, 1964 

 Funeral Set Saturday For Mrs. Drummond 
   Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie Dodd Drummond, former Roman, who died  
Wednesday afternoon in an out-of-town hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday  
in the chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with the Rev. H. Frank Barfield, pastor  
of North Rome Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in East View  
Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Saturday morning  
until time for services. 
   Nephews will serve as pallbearers and include Charles Dent, Hugh, Neal and  
Bryan Jolly, Douglas and Darwin ? 
   Mrs. Drummond had been a resident of Rome for more than 50 years but for the  
past several years had resided with her daughters in Florida. She was the widow  
of Thomas Eugene Drummond, streetcar and bus driver for Georgia Power Company  
for 40 years. Mr. Drummond died Dec. 22, 1954.
