Proctor Services Planned Wednesday
Funeral services for R. H. Proctor, 56, of the Bell's
Ferry Road, who died at 11:35 a.m. Monday, following a
two-year illness, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at
the Polk Chapel Methodist Chruch with rhe Rev. H. F.
Joyner officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining
cemetery. The body will lie in state at the home until
time for the services and pallbearers are requested to
meet there at l:30 p.m. They are: Elmo Sanders, John
Davis, Jesse Martin, Emmett Davis, Smiley Johnston and
J. M. Jackson. (Note: Richard Hugh Proctor was born
Oct. 22, 1890, died Oct. 13, 1947)
