Mrs. Rackley
  Mrs. Emma Jo Dawson Rackley, 80, of 1406 Ward Mountain Road,
died Monday at a Rome hospital after a long illness.
  Mrs. Rackley was born in Bartow County, March 20, 1917, daughter of
the last Joe F. Dawson and Clellah Brooks Dawson. She was a member
of Armucheee Church of God and prior to retirement was employed by
Klopman Mills.
  Survivors include her widower, James C. Rackley; a daughter, Peggy
Puryear, Rome, a brother John Dawson, Albany; two grandchildren, four
great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
  Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Armuchee Church of God
with the Rev. Charles Izell and the Rev. Paul Stover officiating. Interment
will be at East View Cemetery.
