Stafford Dead Mrs. M.J. Stafford, died suddenly at 8 o'clock at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. W.B. Maye, No. 212 West Eleventh street, after a short illness. Surviving her is one daughter, Mrs. A.J. Jolley, of Tennessee, five brothers, Messrs. J.A., G.R., W.C., L.B.and C.T. Lloyd, three sisters, Mrs. Tom Taylor and Misses Mattie and V.I. Lloyd and a large number of grandchildren. She was 75 years of age, and was one of Floyd county's prominent residents. Although leading a quiet home life, by her sweet and gentle manner, she endeared herself to a large circle of friends. Their sympathy is extended to the bereaved family and relatives.
