obituary for Minnie Watson Sims:

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie W. Sims, 71, of Rome
Route 6 who died at the residence Wednesday, (6/30/1954)
were held at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Jennings
Funeral Home. The Rev S. H. Pendley, the Rev J. R. Alread
and the Rev J. W. Tate officiated and interment was in
Bush Arbor Cemetary.

Surviving are the husband, John Ballenger Sims, three
daughters, Mrs. Arnold Duncan, Rome Route 5, Mrs. Clyde
Atkins, Rome Route 4, and Mrs R. L. Peddycoart, Lakeland,
Florida; four sons; Leamon, Elbert and Roy, of Rome Route
6, and Raymond Sims of Lindale; one brother, J. T.
Watson, Rome route 3, 8 grandchildren and 3 great
grandchildren also survive.
