B. Sims, 88, of 2815 Maple Rd., died Sunday at 11:15 PM (12/7/1969) at a Rome hospital following a long illness. Mr Sims was born in Talladega, AL, April 10, 1881, but had spent most of his life here. He was a retired farmer and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. surviving are three sons, Raymond Sims of Lindale, Elbert Sims of Rome, and L.P. Sims of Tampa, Florida; three daughters, Mrs Clyde Atkins of Rome, Mrs R.L. Peddycoart of Lakeland, Florida, and Mrs Arnold Duncan of Rome; one brothey, Harvey Sims of Alexander, AL; one sister, Mrs pearl Wheeler of California; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several neices and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:pm at the chapel of Henderson-Frazier Funeral Home with the Revs S,H. Pendley, and Gene Lingerfelt officiating. Burial will be in Bush Arbor Cemetary. Pallbearers will include Lamar Green, Buddy Green, Tommy Sims, Julian Payne, J.B.
