The Rev. Max Tucker and Parnick Jennings, Sr. will officiate. Interment will be at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Stansell, 71, of 7 Ridge Drive died Thursday afternoon at a Rome hospital after a short illness. She was born in Attalla, Ala., Aug. 18, 1920, daughter of the late Horace Boggs and Pearl Johnson Boggs. She had been a resident of Floyd County since 1940. She was a member of the Shorter Avenue Baptist Church and had been employed by Big K and Wal-Mart for over 19 years. Survivors include: a daughter, Billie Stansell Cooper, Smyrna, a son, Bobby Newton Stansell, Woodstock; a brother, Horace F. Boggs, Los Angeles, Calif; four grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
