Watson, 69, retired farmer of Black's Bluff Road, died in a Rome hospital at 11 a.m. today following an attack suffered a few minutes earlier at his home. Mr. Watson was born in Rome on May 9, a886. He spent his entire life here, and was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are the widow; on daughter, Miss Delores Watson; two sons, J.T. Watson,Jr. and Charles C. Watson, all of Rome. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jennings Funeral Home. The Rev, S.H. Pendley and the Rev. G. Emmett Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Bush Arbor Cemetery. Six nephews will serv as pallbearers. They are J.T. Vanderford, Ed Ellis, J.B. Lester, Howard Moore, Raymond Sims and Lamar Green. The body will be at the funeral home.
