SMILEY WALLACE TO RECEIVE LAST RITES ON FRIDAY
 
  Funeral services for Smiley C. Wallace, 40, popular Rome salesman
who died at a local hospital Wednesday morning, will be conducted
Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the South Browad Methodist church. 
Rev. T. E. Crutcher will officiate and interment will be in the East View
cemetery.
   The following members of the Shanklin-Attaway post of the American
Legion will serve as pallbearers: J. L. Storey, T.O. Burton, Edwin Reece,
R. L. Calloway, J. A. Nichols, Frank Mann, D.M. Plowden, W. A. Patton,
Enfield Berry.
