Mr. Womack
  
Jimmy Darnell Womack, 28, Silver Creek Rte.2, died
Monday afternoon at his residence. Mr. Womack was born
March 13, 1949 in Rome, son of James D. and Hellon
Abernathy Womack. He had been a resident of Bartow
County most of his life, moving to Rome one year ago.
He was a member of North Rome Church of God and was
employed in the shipping department at Trend Mills.

Survivors include his widow, the former Jane Lindsey,
who he married March 13, 1977; one daughter, Miss
Paula D. Womack, Cartersville; parents, Mr. and Mrs.
James D. Womack, Kingston Rte. 1; two sisters, Mrs.
Phyliss Chadwick, Cartersville and Mrs. Jeanette
Taylor, Aragon; two brothers, Darrell Womack,
Kingston, Rte. 1 and James Dean Womack, Lakeland, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at
North Rome Church of God with the Revs. Elgin Williams
and Houston Odon officiating. Interment will be in
Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The body will be carried to
the church at 2 p.m. Wednesday to lie in state until
the funeral hour.

The family will receive friends at Jennings Funeral
Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and at other hours will be
at the residence of the parents, Mr. and Mrs. James D.
Womack, Kingston Road. Pall bearers include James W.
Dupree, Felton Dupree, Eugene Bennett, Gary, Kenneth
and Dewayne Womack, Kenneth Holmes and Larry Crowe.
