John Rowe LONG, the son of William Alford LONG and Margaret JESSUP, was born 
in the Lavender (now called Coosa) Community of Floyd County.  He never 
married.
b. March 18, 1882
d. May 28, 1926
"Weep not father and mother for me
For I am waiting in glory for thee" 
Both his parents are also buried in Pisgah.
