LOCAL News

The marriage of Miss Frances King and Mr. Holmes Cheney occurred Wednesday 
evening at the home of the bride's uncle, Col. R.A. Denny in Rome. The 
ceremony was performed by Rev. G.A. Nunnally. Miss Sara King, a sister of 
the bride was maid of honor. The groom is a nephew of Mrs. Jack Powell of 
this city and is well known in Newnan. After the ceremony the young couple 
left upon an extended bridal tour before going to their home in Birmingham.
