Written: 1880

Forsyth
This indenture made and entered into this the 24 day of Dec eighteen hundred 
and eighty between (Dec 24, 1880) between Jeptha A. Chastain of the county and 
state aforesaid of the one part and Isaac A. Jones of the county and state 
afore said of the other part.

Witnesseth that the said A. Chastain, for and in consideration of the sum of 
$650  six hundred and fifty dollars, in hand paid, at and before the sealing 
and delivery of these presents the receipts whereof is hereby acknowledged, 
hath warranted, bargained, sold and conveyed and doth ...the said Isaac A. 
Jones, his heirs and assigns...that tract or parcel of land known as Nos 1192 , 
1220, 1257, 1258 and Seven acres more or less of lot No 1256 in the 14th Dis of 
first section of said county and state.

To have and to hold the above described lots of land and premises until him the 
said Isaac a. Jones, his heirs, executors and administrators, and assigns for 
ever in fee simple.

And the said J.A. Chastain for himself his heirs, executors and administrators 
and assigns will forever warrant and defend ... against himself and against all 
claims of all other persons whatsoever. 

In ...whereof I, the said Jeptha A. Chastain hath hereunto set his hand and 
seal the day and year above mentioned.
