The above plat is a representation of that Tract or Lot of Land, drawn by 
Thomas Baber  of Hampton's District, Newton County situated in the Fourteenth 
District of the First Section, in Cherokee County, containing Forty Acres, 
which is known and distinguished in the plan of said District by the number 1317

Surveyed on the nineteenth day of May, 1832
