Witnesseth that the said John Wigley, for and in consideration of the sum of $100 one hundred dollars, in hand paid, by the said George Woodlieff hath this day granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and convey until the said George Woodliff, his heirs and assigns...that tract or parcel of land in County of Forsyth and known ..in plan of said district by lot number (1257) twelve hundred and fifty seven containing Forty acres more or less and for the consideration of the sum above mentioned, I john Wigley bind myself, my heirs and assigns unto the said George Woodliff his heirs , executors and administrators and assigns will forever warrant and defend ... against himself and against all claims of all other persons whatsoever.
