Abstract: Mr. Albert Greene Pirkle died 22 January 1909. He was married to
Cecilia Caroline, daughter of the late Mr. K.D. Phillips. They had 12 children,
all living. He was a deacon in the Baptist church "for a score or more years."
At his death, he was a member of Coal Mountain church. [This is a very nice
write-up, including one amusing bit, "...one day a gentleman asked him if he
chewed tobacco. Mr. Pirkle remarked, 'Why, no, I don't even cuss.'" [signed]
