The Cherokee Advance  4 Dec 1885  P 2 November 1885
Mr. Wiley Mangum, who lives near Shadburn's ferry in Forsyth county, lost his 
house and all his household and kitchen furniture last week by fire.  The fire 
is supposed to have originated in a defective flue--and there was no 
insurance.
